Bandama

Gran Canaria/Canary Islands

I took this photo on my old neighborhood where I grew up. I came back to visit my old neighbors and I couldn’t stop looking at how beautiful the sky was. It was during the sunset, the sun was “painting” the clouds pink… I related this to when someone that brightens your day goes to sleep, even if that friend is going to sleep, his essence is still there, you remember some moments full of joy with that person and you smile. The pink in this sky also makes the cloud different, but beautiful, meaning that something different is not bad, it’s awesome! Don’t be sad for being different, be thankful for it and enjoy it.
