Hi everyone! I’m Maymoona,15 years old and I am from Iraq
Who is your role model and why?
My role model is my dad because he is very talented, and he always believes in me and
supports me. He always inspires me to learn new things and always try even if I failed from the
first try, he would always be by my side. My dad was one of the reasons why I decided to open
a crochet shop (crochet is a process of creating textiles by using a crochet hook to interlock
loops of yarn, thread, or strands of other materials The name is derived from the French term
crochet, meaning ‘small hook’. My dad is a really kind and understanding person and I have
always looked up for him as a role model.
One dream you wish comes true. State why?
As a girl who has a lot of dreams and hobbies it’s really hard to decide which dream is gonna be
the right one for me but for now I want to make my little crochet store more popular and
successful. It’s a small business that I decided to start last year by taking advantage of my talent
– which is making crocheted toys.
